Xiaohui works exclusively using the forms of painting and drawing. He has unwavering faith in the power of these styles. His artistic practice is grounded in a comprehensive art education that has run from his early days of school to his current MA study at CAFA, China's top art institute.

Details of Exhibition

Xiaohui does not use stereotyped images of 'Chinese contemporary art' in his works.His drawings shed a fresh light on contemporary China and the cultural differences that exist within the West; they deliver in a special way a reflection on the changing society, urban and social tension, and the connection between China's expansion and impact on the wider world.
