Laura Reeves was born in 1987 and lives and works in Swansea. Reeves' approach, in part, could be compared to that of a detective. An in-depth process of research - exploring origin, meaning and purpose - characterises her pieces. Focusing on the past, and how the past becomes present, her work mines her own biography, which is the focal point of her exhibition at MOSTYN .

This exhibition will be accompanied by a full colour booklet, including a text and interview with MOSTYN's Visual Arts Programme Curator Adam Carr. Gallery 6 and its associated programme Uprisings gives the first solo exhibition to artists in a UK public institution and supports the production of new work.
