The work of Sean Edwards examines the sculptural potential of the everyday. While it responds to his engagement with the world at large, many of his pieces make use of remnants of previous activities as starting point and reflect time spent in the context of his studio.
Details of Exhibition
His found or made objects, as well as his drawings, photographs and clippings, invite the response of the audience and undermine the idea of the exhibition space as a place solely for fully realised artworks.
Funded by Creative Wales Award from Arts Council of Wales, Drawn in Cursive is a touring exhibition which has three ‘stations’: Chapter in Cardiff, Netwerk in Aalst, Belgium and finally here at MOSTYN .
